Modifications made in this sample: Body was knit ~1” longer. I used Novel Pages for the folded hem at the body and sleeves as well as for an applied I-Cord edge on the collar. I knit the I-Cord edge on a US 3 needle with a 4 stitch I-Cord.

Turned hems and a perfectly relaxed round neck make for a casual, easy to wear top based on the silhouette of my favorite ready to wear cropped tee.

For the sample, Jessie used Ritual Dyes Undine. A plant fiber in a Fingering or Sport weight will provide the most drape for this design, and she’s included a couple of other yarn suggestions at lower price points below. That said, please use any yarn that is accessible to you. A fingering weight wool will work perfectly fine.
