How to Apply

Applying is simple and straightforward. We welcome designers of all levels, from all walks of life, to apply and share their unique perspectives with the world. To apply, simply fill out the Google Form Application. We're looking for designers who are passionate, committed, and excited to push the boundaries of what’s possible with hand-dyed yarns.

Wabakimi Socks

Wabakimi is named after Wabakimi Provincial Park located in Northern Ontario, Canada. The word Wabakimi is thought to originate from the Ojibway/Ojibwe word “Waubishkaugimi” meaning “whitewater”. The Wabakimi socks are designed after the Wabakimi Hat. They are an universal fit using Ritual Fingering yarn, a 100% merino wool by Thought to Thread. The design features twisted rib stitch that resembles old log cabins, divided by garter ridge to create texture. The socks are knit cuff down with a heel flap and gusset. These socks are made for sitting around a campfire.
