Description Provided by Kaylin Wirkman
I created this slipover with side ties after winning a Mystery Grab Bag at a Thought to Thread pop up. I loved the fun, bright colors of the mystery Charming plus the bonus prize -- another skein! I chose Opulence for its softness and sheen, and they paired perfectly. The challenge was deciding what to make with only one skein of each. So, voila! The Windowpane Slipover came to be.
This is not a graded, reviewed, or tested pattern and is more so a source of inspiration for your own one skein garment.

Sideways single crochet until halfway through the desired final width, then repeat to create the opposite side of the garment. Seam the two parts together. Add double crochet trim to each stitch around the bottom for 2 rounds, then every other stitch for 1 round, to create the windowpane effect. Add three rounds to the neckline, decreasing by a stitch each round. Finish by chain stitching around the neckline and bottom. Weave in ends and add ties to the sides.
